Indonesian Delegation visits ASEIC!   A delegation of over 15 officials from Indonesia visited SBC and ASEIC on the 7th of March of 2013. The purpose of the visit was to learn in more detail about Korea’s green planning and budgeting for SMEs and ASEIC’s Eco-innovation project for SMEs in developing countries.
The delegation was made up of government officials from various government sectors across Indonesia including; Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Forestry, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Transportation. Ms. Sumiyati from Ministry of Finance was the delegation head and she thanked SBC and ASEIC staff for the warm and kind welcome.
During the visit, the delegation was presented with an overview of ASEIC’s projects and SBC’s programme of ‘Diffusion of Green Management for SMEs’. The delegation has shown enthusiasm proven by critical queries during the question and answer session. The queries generally touch the financial and non-financial supports for SMEs in Korea and ASEIC’s eco-innovation project for SMEs in developing countries, especially in Indonesia.
Upon conclusion of the visit, the Indonesian delegation indicated that the meeting was very useful to them and shared their enthusiasm for continuing to build relationships and cooperation with ASEIC. In the opinion of all, the visit was a success!
