 On 22 February 2016, about 10 government officials from Lao PDR, including the Director of Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Planing and Investment visited ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center(ASEIC) as part of the ‘Lao P.D.R Knowledge Sharing Program(KSP) : financing of SMEs for green growth’. 

  

The Knowledge Sharing Program(KSP) promotes development and implementation of economic policies as well as creation of institutional frameworks for partner countries. This program is organized by Korea Development Institute(KDI) for the purpose of sharing Korea’s advanced policy cases. Ms. Younji Kang, Manager of ASEIC, presented main activities of ASEIC to the delegates of Lao P.D.R, followed by Q&A session, sharing various cases of eco-innovation and methods to participate in programs of ASEIC.

Through this visit, ASEIC is looking forward to establishing a close relationship with the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Planning and Investment to strengthen future cooperation for eco-innovation projects.
